Membership Information Classes of Members. The two classes of Club members are: Active and Honorary Active Member. An Active Member is one who has been approved membership in the Club and who has a current paid-up membership. The active members will have full voting privileges, the right to hold office, and access to all benefits, activities, and business proceedings of the Club. Each active member shall be entitled to one vote at Annual or Special Meetings of the membership. One other adult (spouse or co-owner) and as named on the member application form, shall have the same privileges as the active member, including holding office, serving on the Board of Governors, and shall have a vote at Annual or Special meetings. Active members as of the date of incorporation shall be deemed Charter members, be exempt from any initiation fees and shall be designated as such on membership records. Honorary Members. Honorary Members are those individuals selected by the Board of Governors who will contribute to the purpose, activities, and goodwill of the Riverwalk Yacht Club of Decatur, Inc. Qualification for Honorary membership shall be reviewed by the Board of Governors on an annual basis.
Membership Dues are $120.00 annually. Applications may be obtained from any club officer.
